thanks ke for all the response on my last post. I have a 1.9tdi 2000 a6, it has an intermittent would say grinding/whirring noise. Sounds like it is coming from the turbo side. If the blip the throttle the noise disappears then returns. It's not everytime on operation and doesn't seem to be with cold weather or hot, it also does it after a long drive. Was thinking are these turbos variable vane?
No warning lights and has got EGR blanked.
