Hi,

I'm sure my engine mounts are abit soft as the engine moves about a fair bit.

Whats the best bet? Change them for uprated stuff or O.E.M?

Anybody uprated them?

i think their made of cheese to be honest. The engine/tranny does move around a fair bit.
If you've been down a 1/4 mile or just try and shift quickly at full throttle its quite difficult as a result.
Im going to a BSH or Neuspeed Torque Arm Insert, and ECS Dogbone mount. These are alot stiffer and you really notice it when shifting apparently, and their pretty cheap.

Yeah, my engine flapped about a lot too. Then I had the engine mounts changed (OEM) as they started clicking. Engine still flaps about like a willy in the wind.
Just how it is mate.

Surprised at this J, mine seemed fine. I remember checking when you asked before. Mind you. its so long since i have seen my car they could have now deteriorated :)

Yeah mine rocks about abit... I think maybe a manual gives em abit more stick as you can be harsher and dump the clutch abit more....

YOu made me laugh with your deteiorated comment hehehehe
