Right the guys (and girls) I need some input...
I was topping up my oil and having a mess under my bonnet today when I noticed my engine has a fair bit of movement in it.
I can grab the top of the engine and rock it back and forth about an inch or so. I got my mrs to rev it while I watched and it rocked a fair bit. There aren't any nasty clunks or vibrations when I'm driving and don't get me wrong its nothing major but it has got me worried.
Its only a 1.6 so there isn't bags of toque to rip the engine off its mounts and I know Audi make them quite soft to make for a comfortable journey but how soft is soft?
How much movement do you lot have in your engine. Please let me know to either;
1. Put me out of my misery
2. Give me an excuse to upgrade to something stiffer
