Engine mounts. Changing.

Lads and lady's my left(passenger) side engine mount is on its way. I need to change it is there any alternatives to the oem one with the sensor. I've read some people using b5 s4 ones. Any cheaper alternative then paying an arm and a let for them.

Cheaper alternative is eBay... just keep in mind what could happen if they break.

I went OEM in the end, I've never done things on the cheap in my 11 years of ownership, although she gets little use now I still don't skimp on parts.

For under £230 for a pair or Motorsport Aluminium Billet mounts, you can't beat VibraTechnics. These are what I use in my V8 swaps, they're compliant enough not to be harsh, yet stiff enough not to require a snub mount.

I've used these since my VW Golf I / II days.
