    Hi Guys,

Front passenger side engine mount is showing as intermittent in VCDS as 35-10. Its the lower hydraulic mount, anybody experienced the intermittent value and fixed this?

I have been quoted for replacement £245 fitted. Does this price seem reasonable from an independent VW specialist?

    Thanks

Thanks for replying Simon, so its just a case of taking the lower engine cover off and checking wiring for breaks? Did you also check the connector and clean it with WD40 or similar?

Sorry to be a pain and ask another Q but from the mount where do the wires go, think theyre blue and red?

Anybody who needs this specific part for a A4 1.9tdi AWX, I rang Audi its £106. £140 did sound like a lot for labour as it doesnt seem like it should take 2-3 hours to do.

Hi Simon, actually Im not to far away so if I needed the part that would be a great help. Will try clean as suggested first and take it from there. Cheers :)

Shouldve chatted to you about the CCM I just bought that cost me £280 (facepalm!)

I have now gotten a quote from a garage I use sometimes and they said about an hour labour which seems more reasonable to me, does anyone know if theyre any more of a pain to fit than a regular solid mount?

i recently changed mine as it had sheared clean in half. £105 for the part and an hour of my time. Easy job to do yourself, i did mine on axle stands and used a jack to support the engine while i changed it

@ Swarcup...Thats a very popular question, if you get time to do it then I'll link it into the DIY Guides sticky.
