Hi Folks, Fixed my Reiger Bodykit on today (nightmare which Ill share with you with Pics once clean) and had a Ball ache with the front Bumper but eventually got it off...2hrs later.

I didnt disconnect anything but released the Headlights for the ease of getting to the Bolts under them.

After finally getting my new bumper on and tightened up, I went to start the car up to reverse out the garage and noticed when i turned the ignition to number 2 (before starting) there was a High Pitched noise - like a very high Frequency noise continuous until I turn the engine over then I dont know whether it still makes the same high pitched noise due to the engine. It was fine till I drove about 5 miles then the Engine managment light came on, P'd me off as Ive had a stressful day fitting the ****** kit...

I didnt disconnect anything but Im assuming I disturbed something without me knowing.

Any Ideas anyone?????

Its due a Health check Monday but thought Id bash a few Brains to see if it can stop me from worrying..

that usually means that there is a lambda probe issue on emissions. Can occur from overfuelling or simply a lambda connection.. Did you maybe knock the exhaust during the install?.
Best is plug in vag com and it will tell you exactly..

Thanks for the reply, I didnt knock the exhaust to what I know but you never know. My specialist should know when I take it to them on Monday, Nightmare just when you think everything is sorted till something like this happens.

Do you reckon its safe to drive??
Havnt noticed anything different with the drive at all!!!
