Emission Control System Light

Hi

Apologies if I am asking a faq but I cant find any answers on any other threads. Whilst driving my A3 TDI Sport today I noticed that the yellow Emission Control Light has come on. The car seems to be performing fine but obvoiusly concerned now this light has come on. Am I ok to drive the car and how do I sort this problem.

Any advice is very welcome.

It could be a number of things, but most likely a lambda probe, assuming diesels have them.

You need to get hold of vag-com mate to find out. Where do you live?
