    Hi guys...

    I have an Audi A6 Avant 2005...

    Module 46

    Channel 50 coded to 0 = No hazard flash or brake flash

    Channel 50 coded to 1 = Only hazard flash... No brake flash

    Channel 50 coded to 2 = No hazard flash or brake flash

    Channel 50 coded to 3 = No hazard flash or brake flash

    Here is adaptation/info on my module 46...

    I've been referencing Link:- Audi A6 (4F) Comfort System - Ross-Tech Wiki

    The helper balloon suggests only a saloon car support (+2)...

    Does anyone know/have coded brake flash on an A6 4F...

    Like this video on an A4...

    TIA

    Mine has factory fit Xenons/LED rear taillights... is a 2005/55 ...

    i) did the brake flash work like in video for A4?

    ii) what was coding you did?

    iii) what was done on the car you coded to initiate brake flash? I found hazard flash only initiate by going 50 mph+, then do hard braking, just before coming to stand still it would occur...

    iv) did it have non LED tail lights?

    Thanks for info :salute:...

    He has yet to test the lights out in action, the car has halogens and std (non LED) rear lights.

    Here is the screen shot of the adaptation changes:

    (The car is a March 2008 2.7TDi Le Mans Avant)

    Hi all :-}
    Check ABS ECU for adaptation also .
    Module 46 must recognize emergency braking> information about emergency braking should receive from ABS ECU .
    Without additional information about the braking module 46 can not distinguish normal braking from emergency braking .
    sorry for my english,:-}

    My[IMG], if you check post 1 I have done that already and it work on my car [IMG]... what don't work is the brake light/ rear tail light flash like in the video I have placed in post 1 ...

    Video is an Audi A4 (8K) I have an Audi A6 (4F) ... perhaps my car does not support it :sorry:...

    I have a 2005 A6 Avant with factory fit LED tail lights ...

    Any update from yourself Gizmo68 on if the owner has tested brake flashing?

    ask someone who has this function to check the adaptation module 09 [bornetz]
    Maybe you have bornetz that does not support this function and you have to change to a new one
    Check your bornetz number

    I didn't think mine worked at first.

    Hazards activate over 35mph+ with LITTLE effort. Just a hard brake.

    The Brake lights will flash over the same speed (35mph) how it measures an "emergency/panic" brake is the time between being on the throttle to being on the brake! So it's an actual panic e.g something runs out into the road.

    So drive at 40mph maintaining a gentle throttle, and then as quick as you can change your foot to the brake and stamp!

    They will flash!
