Electrical Problems!?!??!!!!!!

Hi,

ok so this is like the third post im putting up, so firstly i apologise if your gettin annoyed.........

HOWEVER im still no closer to resolving my problematic lighting situation!!!!

My instrument cluster, digital LCD screen and part of the dash have stopped lighting up completely leaving only the climate control to light up very weakly when i turn my lightswitch on...........

Up to now ive rang several auto electrical specialists but they all seem reluctant to fix anything and keep tellin me to go to the dealer as i need a completely new dash and recoding and all that malarky..............

Only one guy has said to me that he can fix it saying he needs to send my dash off to be repaired...........BUT hes fully booked until after newyear........

I NEED MY CAR BY NEXT FRIDAY!!!!!!!!!!

Does anyone know where i can take my car to, to have the dash repaired whilst i wait thats anywhere near manchester/liverpool/leeds/bradford/swansea/blackburn/blackpool/burney/carlisle......or anywhere nearby.....im willing to travel!!!!!!!! Any one know any dash repair specialist who wont mess me bout and just do an honest job fixing my car?

PLEASE HELP!!!!!!! IM DESPERATE!!!!! I DONT WANT TO END UP HAVING TO DRIVE MY MUMS CAR NEXT WEEK!!!!! (french, slow and ugly)

Hi mate,

I'm in the same boat as you i think. Does your instrument cluster lights flicker like a disco ball? Do ANY of your gauges work? Mine are all fubared!!

I have no idea what to do either and haven't had much help myself. Apparently Ive been told i can buy a new instrument cluster (used from ebay) and recode it using VAG COM to fix the problem.

My whole interior lighting is flickering constantly. I feel as if im about to have an epileptic fit any moment now!. Speed/Rev meter dont wory either.

If you find out a resolution, let me know too and vice versa!

I to am in the same boat my cluster is playing up so much so its draining my battery completely i rang cluster repair uk who are going to charge £130 + vat but there not open until the 4th of jan now and Audi are after £300 just for the cluster thats not including fitting and coding
