Electric seat help needed

i can lower the backrest part of the seat but it will not go up at all and now the seat is stuck all the way back any ideas on what this could be and all the other electrics work

My guess would be a limit switch funked.

Not 100% sure but iirc you have to remove the seat back to get to it.

Its most likely the common fault of microswitches have snapped or come of underneath that controls the power switches, remove seat, turn upside down & look for loose micro's, then you could glue them back in place like I did if they're not ********.

Alternative would be a shed load of pillows for now

i have the seat out now but how do you get the switch out dont want to damage anything down there

i have found my problem the wires are crushed right in the corner of the seat but it looks like its gonna be a nightmare to get to anyone to apart the seat before
