Just bought these springs and had them fitted to my Audi a3 S Line from a VAG specialist.

The car hasnt dropped nearly as much as I'd hoped. I know the car is standard 15mm lower so the drop won't be as much, but I was still expecting a lot more. It also seems as though the rear is a little lower than the front.

Have any of you guys experienced the same thing ?
How much do you think this is due to just the springs taking a little while to settle in ?

On the plus side though, it is a lot nippier in the corners!

    Cheers guys.

Just summed lowering springs up right there!

i found springs only drop an extra 5mm ish when settling, its coilovers that drop more in the settle process

The rear wheel arch is cut lower than the front wheel arch but if you want to even it out you can source TT rear spring perches. They are thicker urethane therefore raising the rear a tad. Coilovers are the way to go.

Compare your car to my old A3.... Link in my signature. Look at the later photos after it was lowered with eibach sportlines for comparison.

The sportline springs are 10mm shorter on rears than the fronts. Check your fitter hasn't fitted them back to front lol.

I have sportlines fitted to my A3 s-line and I think the drop is perfect.
To be honest, if it was any lower on springs then the wheels would catch - I do have 19"s though :)

To be honest I think the disappointment was due to it just not being slammed haha don't know why I was expecting that though!

After a little drive the springs have definitely eased up and there's a marked improvement for sure!

A 100 or so more miles and it can only get better!

Next step is to get 19s for that perfect look.

I'll try get up a before and after if my phone will let me

That's after only a 5 minute drive, and has since settled in slightly.

I think they might settle in a bit more, but personally I think that looks great.
You will notice it more when you get the 19s on.

The only way to go lower is go down the coilover route.

Yeah tbh I think it was just having the car on a slope plus brand new springs.
Yeah Coilys would be great but I'd also need a higher paying job if I was to go down that route ha!

To quickly settle new springs drive to KFC and offer their customers free lifts home.

Eibach Sportlines. Its roughly a 20-30mm drop considering the S Line is already 15mm lower than stock. They were 178 off a website called potn. Phone up and tell the guy what you want and say you've found them for cheaper off another website and he'll price match it for you! Don't go too low though haha need it to be believable!

Sits a lot nicer... looks better now and still carrying a factory look rather than a slammed to the floor look.

Is there less body roll now?

Yeah 100x better in my opinion.
Yeah a hell of a lot less body roll, and can be noticed a lot more when there's other folk in the car.
The cars still just as comfy too, only noticeably bumpier with a full car
