EGT sensor thread size

    Has anyone got to hand the thread size for the egt sensor? Off an 01 amk. Need to get a boss tapped but don't have the sensor to hand. Thanks Andy

    M12x1 rings a bell, but dont take my word for it.

    I can check at lunchtime for you to confirm.

    That would be helpful if you can buddy. From memory I think it was m12x1.0mm or 1.25mm.

    confirmed, its M12x1.0mm

    Bear in mind if your getting something made to hold it that the bolt down collar is loose, like a brake union. It seals and is held in place by way of a tapered seat at the bottom of the hole, which butts up against a sort of ferrule on the sensor itself.
