EGR valve on A6

    just wonder is it ok to block of the EGR valve on a 2.5tdi 180bhp 2004 A6?

    Exhaust gas recirculation does exactly what it says on the tin and dumps some of the sooty **** back in the inlet which over time clogs it up. plenty of info on site about it but shame the search is poor
