how much would i be able to get a oem ecu for my 97 a4 1.8t?

i have just whacked one on ebay, i paid £100 for it, thats around the going rate warrenteed

got one for a 96 aeb if that is any help to ya will dig it out and post the part no as soon as i get it looking at £50 for it

Think its best to make sure it has the same engine code as your engine.

He's in the US so he will need a US ECU due to the mapping differences.

Doc's right. US emission control is completely different to Euro one.
