    HI
Took my 1.9 tdi in for a couple of minor warranty jobs and the service manager said that there was an ECU sofware upgrade to be done (from Aug 2007 apparently). When I asked what exactly it 'upgraded' (I know its the ECU) she was unable to say. Anyone know anything?

When my 2.0tdi was serviced last year I was told the same about the remap however they told me that it was because drivers were having clutch problems due to the torque of the engine. They actually mentioned the 1.9tdi had the same problem.

    Hi
Thanks for the reply. So obviously I ll lose my re-map but when I get my remap 're-installed' will it override EVERYTHING the Audi software upgrade has altered? Anyone?

    Hi Steve W
Well I had a remap before it went in for the warranty jobs so obviously I noticed the difference straightaway. Got a new flywheel (warranty) on order so I m not going back to my remapper until theyve fitted this just in case they 'reinstall' again
