I recently decided to get a remap done on my S3, to gain apparently 45-50bhp, ECU is a MED17.
To cut a long story short, the remap would not upload onto the ECU, and after days of talking to JANsport, had to end up sending the ECU up to them to sort out.
ECU came back still borked, The company carrying out the REMAP are now having to purchase a new ECU from Audi, as the old one has completely stopped communicating with the car, and nothing can be done with it.
Obviously i'm gutted, and just wandered if this sort of problem has occured to anyone else? been advised to not try again (obviously) until its 100% guarenteed to work.
