ECS light when ignition on

New to Audi so not sure if this is normal or not?

The little yellow blighter comes on when i turn the ignition on. Once I turn the engine over however and it fires up the light goes out to never been seen again.... Unless I'm sat with my ignition on but engine off.

I'm not sure which light you mean but when I turn the key their are 3 yellow lights, all of which dissappear when the engine is turned over.

It checks the circuits and the bulbs before you start. Then they go out.
