Okay, on that colour, here is a good starter kit...

    Wash (ideally every week)

Basic Car Wash Kit £39.95 - http://www.polishedbliss.co.uk/acatalog/basic-car-wash-kit-wash.html (choosing the Blackfire shampoo)

Clay (once or twice a year, spring and autumn are the best times)

    Meguiars Quik Clay £12.95 - http://www.polishedbliss.co.uk/acatalog/meguiars-quik-clay-clean.html

Polish (after claying, thus done once or twice a year)

Blackfire Gloss Enhancing Polish, applied using a Lake Country German CCS Polishing Pad, and buffed off using Poorboys Deluxe Mega Towels

    Blackfire Gloss Enhancing Polish £14.95 - http://www.polishedbliss.co.uk/acatalog/blackfire-gloss-enhancing-polish-polish.html
Lake Country German CCS Polishing Pad £2.95 - http://www.polishedbliss.co.uk/acatalog/lake-country-german-ccs-pads-polish.html
Poorboys Deluxe Mega Towel £3.95 each - http://www.polishedbliss.co.uk/acatalog/poorboys-deluxe-mega-towel-protect.html

Protect (apply a fresh coat every 6-8 weeks)

Blackfire Wet Diamond All Finish Paint Protection £21.95 - http://www.polishedbliss.co.uk/acat...mond-all-finish-paint-protection-protect.html
    Meguiars Microfibre Applicator Pads £4.95 - http://www.polishedbliss.co.uk/acatalog/meguiars-microfibre-applicator-pads-protect.html
Poorboys Deluxe Mega Towel £3.95 each - http://www.polishedbliss.co.uk/acatalog/poorboys-deluxe-mega-towel-protect.html

This product gives a highly reflective wet looking shine and is very easy to put on and take off (apply using a Meguiars Microfibre Applicator Pad and buff off using Poorboys Deluxe Mega Towels). If you want to take the look of the car further, you could optionally finish with our Blackfire Midnight Sun Carnauba Paste Wax, which is very easy to use, and which will give even more wetness and gloss. However, because of the high carnauba content, it is pricey, and thus optional...

Blackfire Midnight Sun Carnauba Paste Wax £39.95 - http://www.polishedbliss.co.uk/acatalog/blackfire-midnight-sun-ivory-carnauba-paste-wax-protect.html

I hope that helps, if you have any more questions please fire away, I'm always happy to help!

Yep, the advanced kit is good as it also gives you wheel cleaning products, but I left it off as I was trying to give you a full kit for as little outlay as possible - it quickly adds up! For leaf blowers, £50 on a 1600W unit is ideal.

you know regarding how often you do each step, every week you are to wash it and just dry it off?would you not need anything after this?just to give it the extra shine,i really like the wet glossy look on this colour.

The above routine will give you the glossy look you desire, and yep, it's as simple as a wekkly wash and dry, a top up of the sealant every 6-8 weeks and just a major clean and polish twice a year.

    Hi,

I tried the above products (not the wax) and my results are here http://audi-sport.net/vb/showthread.php?t=66208 .

The pics show the car after:

    1. Washing (Blackfire Gloss Shampoo & Conditioner)
    2. Claying (Meguiars Quik Clay Kit)
    3. Polishing (Blackfire Gloss Enhancing Polish)
    4. Protecting (Blackfire Wet Diamond All Finish Paint Protection)
    5. Then a week of driving
    6. Washing (Blackfire Gloss Shampoo & Conditioner)
    7. Blackfire Deep Gloss Spray Sealant
I'm quite happy with it. But I think I'd rather a deeper shine if that makes any sense? The finish I get with (7) is very shiney and watery?

Should (1) to (4) be something I'd only need to do twice a year?

And is (6) & (7) enough for once a week? Or would you recommend something other than Blackfire Deep Gloss Spray Sealant ?

Also, could you recommend something to clean my alloys?

I got an alloy wheel cleaner from LIDL for 3euro. You apply it with a brush.

This stuff removes every bit of dirt and brake dust from the alloys...but the strength of it has me worried! It doesn't have any ingredients listed in it apart from "less than 3% non ionic surfactants".

Stages 1-3 should be done twice a year, stage 4 should be done every 2-3 months, while stages 5 and 6 should indeed be done weekly. If the shine is not deep enough for you, then the logical way forward to add extra depth and gloss is to finish with the Midnight Sun Paste Wax. If you choose to go down this route, you would do stages 1-4 twice a year, the new stage 5 is add a coat of Midnight Sun every 2-3 months, and the old stages 5 and 6 become stages 6 and 7, still done weekly. I hope that makes sense!

With regard to the wheel cleaner, I have no experience of said product, but for £3 I would guess it's acid-based. The best non acidic cleaner for regular use is Blackfire Gel Wheel & Tyre Cleaner; cleans very well, pH neutral and not too bad on the wallet when bought in the bulk refill size.

    Hope that helps!
