    I have see people get these checks online? from DVLA for free

    Does anyone know the link, its only brief information which gives no personal details.

    AA Car data check is better and cheaper than HPI. It uses Experian's database which is linked to the DVLA. Did you know that the majority of dealers and automotive trade use Experian rather than HPI. HPI has become the generic term for a car data check, even when they are using Experian's data.

    The RAC one says I still own my last car as there are 0 previous owners (bought it new) which I had used as partex for the S3 about 6 months ago.............seen my old car on the road too!
