About to spec this monstrously expensive option on a new S3.... however does anyone know if it carries Speed Camera information??
Or do I have to buy a Road Angel type device separately!

Unfortunately the Navigation Plus (or RNS-E as it is more commonly known) does not include Speed Camera information, and isn't configurable for it either. You'll need a Road Angel too!

I agree it is expensive, but you can retrofit the RNS-E from around £400 for a used unit if that's any help. It's what I did! :)

I retrofitted a couple of weeks ago too!

Its abit of a pain having a great unit in the RNS-E and it doesnt work for speed cameras, but Ive got the Road Angel Compact as well. Its sits quite nice on the dash on the righthand side, bought it for only £130 so not too bad really.

I also find myself looking at that for my speed rather than the cars own speedometer most times!!

I retrofitted in my new S3 and it was very easy, all for £454 delivered!

Don't give Audi over 2 Grand when it was as easy as I and other new S3 owners have done!

I wouldn't trust my licence to a freebie speed camera database anyway.
and how do they handle SPECs camera's?
