Hello everyone,

Following on from my previous post...

When launching the Sport Maxx RT (see here), Dunlop also unveiled the new Sport Maxx Race, a high performance tyre reserved for an elite clientele: drivers of some of the most powerful sports cars, such as the Audi TT-RS, Audi R8, Mercedes C63 Black Series, Porsche 997 GT3, BMW M5 etc…

It’s a semi-slick tyre developed for intensive track driving, but can also be used on the road, which places the tyre in direct competition with the Michelin Pilot Sport Cup. It is therefore not surprising that the Sport Maxx Race has some serious assets in terms of efficiency and performance. Moreover, it has all the qualities of a tradition road sport tyre, which becomes particularly useful in rainy weather.

That’s where the Dunlop Sport Maxx Race comes up trumps: being a hybrid of a sport tyre that knows how to be multipurpose. At the wheel of a 525hp Audi R8 V10, we were able to appreciate this successful mix. The Sport Maxx Race is designed to accentuate supercar performance, while providing driving precision.

Is anyone tempted to switch and give the dunlop a try on the track?
