dump valve

Hi every one,

Any one got a dump valve on the s3 8p 2010-2012


Any pics etc, tried search got only got old s3's

It's a forge spacer as its a re circ system, and it's like cutting a hole in your boost pipe.

Revo had a letter explaining it too.

Stay clear from the rubbish little noises it makes and buy a CAI. you'll get the same effect with the better performance.

The S3 8P does not have a dump valve.

The air metering system calculates fuelling using measurements from the MAF which is before the turbo.
Any air already metered in the system on throttle closure is recirculated via the diverter valve.

If you dump air from the system those calculations will be incorrect.

As has already been said,don't waste money on spacers for the diverter valve.
