Just booked my A3 2.0 TDi DSG in for service at Huntingdon. £215 for the service at 36,000, and then the dealer rang back to remind me that it will need the DSG oil and filter changing at 40k....at a cost of £180...what the hell is all that about, I have never changed oil on an auto in any car before and certainly not at £80 for 6 litres of oil and filter, not to mention £100 labour. How long does it take to drain a gearbox and screw a new filter on. Is this correct?
