drove F type R round Rockingham today

Ok as a birthday pressie did this.
Brilliant car 550 bhp.
Gave some gunning , just starting to sus the corners and the laps run out.

Was happy scored 87% and instructor comments was I was "fast and smooth"
Though did not admit that 35 years ago I had a full racing licence and had spent about four years club racing.
Though good memories and nice to know this old boy still has it !!

Rally looking forward to the S3 now.
Just hope I doesn't kill me or my licence

It was a F type Jaguar R.

I build them. Awesome cars.
We've just done a run of 200 Project 7's which are like an R on steroids.

Omg , the R was spectacular .
I was very close to ordering a XE , but needed a hatch for now so went for S3.
Top of list for four years from now will be an XE as by then the ignium petrol will be sorted and hopefully 4wd...
Just need to scratch the performance car itch before it is too late ( I am 59).

Tata seem to have really pulled Jag/landrover up several notches
