about to pick a car up tomorow the mot ran out 4 days ago.
i know you can drive the car to an mot station if its booked in.
i would be driving 3hrs to get the car back home to the local mot station.
having a nightmare getting the car mot sorted down where the seller is.
does it have to be the closest mot station or aslong as its booked in on that day ?
    whats the law with this.

closest 3 hours is stretching a bit to much.TBH it's only a £30 fine and no points if you do get caught.

Provided your car is booked into an MOT test station and that is where you are going there is no mileage restriction.

Because that's stopping unless you get a tanker to drive alongside you and to a fill up that way.
    I was being pedantic.

30 [WAS] ? the minimum fine.
No restriction on milage as stated, but can only drive to the mot station or pre booked place to carry out the repairs.
Get him to meet you at the fuel station? Where is the car to and from, id be happy to prefill a jerry can and meet on your 2 hour rest break if its on the A1 near me lol
