Drivers electric window

My drivers front window won't go up or down anymore but when I press the button you can hear the motor working and a mad crunching sound?jst wondering if it's an easy fix or should I take it a garage?any help would be fab

probably the dented wheel just broken or pop out, fairly easy to inspect (take off the door card) and repair (if window is up).

it's like 4 bolts and pulling it off, on forum is a guide (use search button )

Sounds like the motor works but the regulator mechanism needs renewing. The cable comes off one of the guides and gets chewed up by the motor. ECP do oe versions sometimes allow a day to change it if you've never done one before.
