Drivers door won't lock but also drivers mirror does not work...HELP

Im after some help asap. I have went to lock my car and thought the doors all locked as the lights flashed but after checking them the drivers door isn't locking at all.

Ive changed batteries in both keys and still no good.

Ive noticed that the drivers electric mirror also doesn't work but passenger does.

Is this down to a module or something? Or possibly wiring in door broke?

Please any help would be appreciated as im away this weekend for Easter and need it sorting asap.

Try the wiring in the rubber boot when you open the door

Check wiring and if access check VCDS as this will show problems in the driver side module

as above 2 or 3 snapped wires

Thanks for your help guys, checked the boot in door and a few wires snapped. Is there plenty of play in wires to pull them a bit and piece back up or not?

There's no harm in that, join them together and check if it works, if not the play in wires means that it has disconnect at another point along the wire.

Disconnect positive pole beforehand.
