driver window

Having a problem with my drivers side window. It still works ok but when i try to close it it seems to stick and the safety mech kicks in and it goes back down. Anyone know if this is due to the motor being worn out or is it a problem with the window trying to go up at a slight angle and therefore locking against the window seal. I have removed the door card and there doesnt seem to be anything wrong with the sliders, however there is some play in the one raising the rear of the window.
Any advice would be greatly appreciated....

Hi

It'll be the little green/pink clips that hold the window its a very common fault as they become brittle over time, I and many others on here have had to replace them!! Couple of quid from the stealers and jobs a good un, if you do a search there is some step by step instructions with photos

They sell them on ebay I beleive but they are more expensive than from Audi!!!!
