As above,

The driver side window just stopped working all of a sudden no indication that it was failing.

There is still power getting to the unit but it sounds like it is turning and you can hear a grinding noise.

Before i take the door card off does anyone know what it sounds like to get parts ordered up etc.

Cheers guys.

Is it a big job to do.?

Thanks for getting back to me.

You wouldn't have a how to guide or know of one to weigh up if it's doable!

I followed one from you tube. It was for a saloon and not for a cab like mine but pretty similar.
Basically you unscrew the door panel, then disconnect the wires and remove the door panel.
Drop 3 screws out of the motor and pull it off the regulator. Remove the window, 2 screws. Remove the complete window assembly 4 bolts.fit the new regulator and reverse the steps to refit. If I can find the link I will send it to you.

Cheers buddy

Make sure you have a T45 torx bit
Took about 1-1 1/2 hours
Very satisfieing doing it yourself and saving garage labour

Great stuff.

I'll get it ordered and it will give me something to do on my nextday off.
