driver door won't open??

Ok had a long driver up to Mallory park for my first trackday which went well. Got back and clocked over 100,000k. Praised the car for getting me there and back safe and sound. Today I try to open the driver side door and nothing,made sure it was unlocked etc still nothing. Any ideas

will it open manually from the inside (2 pulls on the lever).
does everything else on the drivers door work (electric windows, central locking button)?

Yeah everything else works, tried the 2 pulls from inside but still nothing,very strange

Not long had my s3 but the guy that I bought it from had a similar problem.

In the end he had to replace the full unit at a cost of £250, not sure if this was accurate but does seam to be a common problem. I went to see a red s3 before I bought mine and the driver side handle wasn't working.

******! Already splashed out for new tyres & water meth this month. That's guys.think ill just have to UAE the passenger side for a few weeks
