Downpipe, worth getting new flex joint welded in?

Hi all,

My exhaust is rattling a bit, pretty sure its the downpipe and in particular the flex joint; is it worth just getting a new joint welded in? any idea on the cost and if this is something they normally do?

Price of new downpipe on German and Swedish is £69.50 + vat so not too bad if not.

sure its not the bracket, mine has snapped b4 now.

Yup as had it up on ramps and hear it blowing- also confirmed by Audi specialist when had suspension done last week.

The bills never end!!

Replace it for a sports cat/downpipe.
