i managed to split the brand new boost pipe which connects the turbo to the charge pipe, i need to get a boost gauge to see what my boost is spiking up to.

i decided to put my car away for the winter for several reasons, to stop the millage from racking up so much as im using the car as my everyday comuting car, while its away i have decided that i would run boost leak tests and service the car.[IMG][IMG][IMG][IMG][IMG][IMG]

since i put my car away for the winter i have now decided that i am going to fully poly bush my car, replace all the ball joints, drop down links, put lowering shocks and springs, spacers, fmic, clutch, turbo back exhaust system,

i started on the front, managed to drop the subframe, some of the bolts were VERY stiff..

i decided to go for super pro bushes as they have had such good reveiws, i went for the non camber adjusting bushes including the dog bone mounts.

i started on the dog bone mount as thats what came off the car first, i have it a good clean, i then uses a deburring wheel to shine up the metal surface. ( i bought the super pro bush kit, not knowing that i already had a powerflex bush in there already)
the super pro bushes are great, they come with silicone grease and are high quality with knurled grip on the inside of the bush (the part of the bush that makes contact with the supplied push in steel tube).

next i cleaned up and debushed the front wish bones, i used a fly press which removed the rubber and left the metal liner which i removed using a hack saw.

i then bushed them and sprayed them with gloss black stone chip paint.[IMG]

i forgot to say, i am also refurbing my front and rear brake calipars and painting them red

rear tie bars, one has been shock blasted, the other has not.

to de-bush these i used a fly press and a vice...

i loosened the bush on the fly press and then twisted the bush out like this, putting a dowel in the metal insert to stop it from crushing and increasing the grip i had on it....

front hubs, have been blasted and resprayed:
