double din conversion

    my standard stereo is knackered, so looking into doing a double din conversion. anyone done it, that can give me some tips?

    Search on here there are loads of threads and guides. Its quite a big jog kind, I went from single din to rns-e sat nav and it took 6 hours.

    It's a 4+ hour job depending upon how many tweaks (CC mod / ashtray, etc) you do:icon_thumright:

    thanks for the replys
    just looked at the you tube video and it looks about 1-1.5 hour job max
    i didnt know if i needed any special parts but it looks straight forward
    ive bought the part i needed off ebay so i just need to go stereo shopping now
