    Hello

im going to be doing a single to double din conversion soon and wanted to start getting the parts together.

ive decided to use an aftermarket unit due to the limited abilities of the RNS-E

    so far on my list:

    double din cage
    double din facia adaptor

    what else do i need?

Either re-shape your climate unit or buy a double din one.... (i have a spare single p.m me this would make you able to take your time and not worry so much!)

Not 100% sure, but when i done my dbl conversion, i went from a non can bus to canbus stereo.

Just bought a rns-e adapter from ebay (£30) to convert the iso plugs to quadlock, and had to add a +12v to one pin on the stereo.

All works fine now with no probs.

So i would say you dont need an expensive can bus adapter from my experiance, but please dont take that as gospel :)
