Dorset woman charged £3000 for repairs in breakdown hell

What king of mechanic and specialist does not solve or advise, at least on all problems that are from the same fault.
According to them, thermostat needed replacing after dpf job and error wasn't removed from ecu? Tyre puncture to top it all up.
They having a laugh.
They see a daft customer (not picking on anyone and have no intention to offend anyone) and just fed them with porky pies that half the car components have to be replaced with 100's labour hours on top of that.

It is hard to find a good garage and that's why people sometimes go to the main dealer, as they "trust" them.

From my personal experience, whenever you go to a new place, because someone recommended them to you, they are nice, polite, cheap and reliable. After 2-3 jobs after in the same garage, thing slightly change to the worse. Jobs getting more difficult, take longer, work out more expensive because of that also.
I think, this is the turning point for changing the garage.
Maybe it's just my experience (not particularly bad one) but it proved few times.

If I was in that lady's shoes, I would require an expertise of a 3rd party professional on all parts they replaced. On these basis, do the investigation and take them to court, if something been changed unnecessarily.
These grounds could've give her grounds to suspicion for lack of any kind of reliability, professional knowledge and proving they are lying/cheating customers.
Demand of a full refund and compensation in form of fully repaired vehicle by another dealership with courtesy car, would be as must in that case.
