Door switch problem

noticed on my b7 avant that the curtes ligts and door ooen signal on dash dont work when i open the drivers door. But all windows work and it locks and led in door card work fine, so thinking its the micro switch.

Anyone know to replace/fix it?

You could spray wd40 in the lock to work it back/.forth 50 times, see if this gets rid of any build up or strip the lock out to take apart & clean/test or refit a replacement.
