Door speaker size???

is it 5.25", im replacing them with better jl ones but need to know what size the standard ones are

You might want to re-post this in the ICE forum or PM AndyMac (a member on here) -what that man doesn't know about audi ICE isn't worth knowing.

Standard fronts are 4" mids and 1" tweeters. They're also mounted in a bizarre fashion with only 3 mounting posts offset from the aperture in the door card so you need adapter rings to mount anything in there (even an aftermarket 4" driver). Depth is the biggest problem as you only have about 60mm including the adapter rings.

I bought some of these for mine 5.25s fitted ok with the fitment rings.

So 5.25 will fit but andymac is still right... the std ones are 4"
