Door closing problem

Hi all

I have just started to have a problem with my car door. Basically when I close the door the Driver Information display still thinks it is open and consequently the interior lights stay on and you cant lock it. This is only an intermitent fault though as it does not do it everytime.
Does anyone have any ideas of what the problem is or has experienced similar problems?

Had mine replaced under warranty the other week for the same reason...........my alarm was not arming too, as it thought the door was still open
