Door card leather

I wanna swop the leather in my door cards but not sure if it comes out . Is it just a matter of pulling the old leather off and then glue new leather in its place ??

The plastic backing the leather is on is heat bonded to the door card.

So it's just a matter of undoing where it's bonded then

Yes...........last problem would be rebonding again, as there is not much meat on the door card insert.

Any ideas how to unpick it ??

Pry it apart (plastic heat weld).............in the end, use a soldering iron to melt/stich it all back together with some glue for good measure afterwards.

Arildite with a little super glue added should be ok I think

Or the other idea I had was to dye the gray leather

Google re-upholsterer in your area. Plenty of furniture or saddler type trades about.
