Why so many bubbles anyway ?

I think it's a combination of the fact that the taps add air to the water = foam, I had the taps on full and I am still working out the ratios for this shampoo. It's got US measurements so still trying to work out what to use for UK softened water. I found some threads on DW about this but it's not an exact science. Last time I had too few bubbles, this time far too many. Still the car was clean at the end.
