Does anyone have a dieselgeek short shift on their S3?

I've got the slightly older version (the one with only one arm all metal), I found it great compared to standard and the Nuespeed one. I don't get gear crunching when shifting fast with the diesel one.

Its an OEM one modified by "Diesel geek"

I had one on my golf, and was very pleased with it. The S3 one will be different as mine was only for a 5 speed box, but I would still recommend them

you guys know that the TT sport (240bhp 1.8T 2 seater) has a shorter shift than an S3, from what i ve heard so does the standard 225.

I think you have to have this shipped over. It doesn't look too costly though with the exchange rates (£103 or so plus shipping) which is favourable compared to other short shifts available over here.

Just e-mail the guy at Diesel and he'll gladly send you one over, I ordered mine like 1 1/2 years ago and it's still going good.

Fitting's easy, you need to align it up well after fitting but it's not hard just read the instructions well. Can't remember how much it was, roughly around $100
