Do narrowband ECUs detect missfire in vagcom?

    Should do... misfires are picked up using the crank sensor IIRC...

    Just had a little hesitation @ 2k and thought it should show up as a misfire....
    I suppose i could pull a coil and see if it registers..

    99% sure mate, when i had alot of coilpack/wiring issues and broke down i was speaking with sandip asking for help and he advised me on whatever blocks it is you log to see whats miss firing etc and mine was empty or couldnt communicate with that module, something along those lines.

    Anway i heard you were doing a wideband conversion and thought andrew was lending a hand?

    you going to through a guide together so i can mine :). Also, you looking at fitting the vvt unit, second lambda and egt sensor?

    No Crappy VVT or lambda, It would be rude not to do the EGT sensor

    ive thought about the vvt for tuning purposes and the lambda for the afr for the liquid gauge lol.
