I'm running a standard 2.0 TFSI which doesn't seem to have the surge it used to so I'm going to start by changing the diverter valve. Does anyone know if the one Awesome GTI sells is the same as one from the dealers (Rev D?) and is there any difference in price?

    Cheers

There's 2 dealer options, apparently the uprated dealer option is just as good as the forge option from awesome gti. Mite be worth sticking a quick post up for the part number. I got one from work for my mates golf gti and he seems to have no bother and he's running 270 bhp. :) I'm just not sure of the part number, hope this helps.

    The upgraded VW/Audi diverter valve part number is: 06H 145 710D .

About to order one myself , as I think mine is a little sluggish too!

Thanks, will get one fitted when it goes for its service on Friday. Even the wife commented today that it didn't seem to have the umph it used to. Quite an observation for her really.

@Nick F....She is probably the one who knackered it!hahaha....Am going to try and order mine's tomorrow then get it fitted next week, when am getting the oil and filter done before a blast down to Nazi Gold smuggling country!...alledgedly.

Let us know if you notice a difference...make sure you get the old one back to check it out....a duff valve is easily spotted.

    Cheers
