Dismantling/Repairing an Audi Concert II CD Radio 8P

Hi all

does anyone know of any instructions anywhere for this?

I think my Son's put something in the CD Drive and now it's saying "CD ERROR".

I want to get inside, and remove the said item!

Thanks in advance, hope someone can help - will save me at least £100 for a new one!

Remove.

Remove lid.

Inspect, and take it from there. -If you don't know what may be in there, it's hard to know how to fix it without an inspection...

The lens could just be bad, or a CD with thick paper labels on it could be blocking it, and require a manual 'wind-out', but until the problem is identified for sure, we'll never know.

Any tips on how to "remove lid" ? With what/how? And more importantly - where?

PS. Managed to get the CD Part out - if I got another CD "part" would the code be for the radio, or the CD part!?
