Disconnecting Bose

    Mine is a MY12 car and the pin has been moved correctly and coded and i didnt need any adapter cables No GALA settings on the RNSe so it all works as it should. Just sounds shoot !

    I will report back on Friday as I am currently away with work

    Hiya, I know your pain. I have just picked up a brand new s3 with Bose and sat nav and it is awful. I can not believe how bad it sounds. I am tempted to try this wire trick but I am not sure it is valid for the new units?

    Has yours been coded for the Bose system? The code for RNS-e should start 209****
    If it starts 205**** then this will be your problem...

    All coded correctly and sounded gash

    Whipped the Bose wire out and all of a sudden I have more Bass where as before it sounded very flat. After this it did not make a difference whether the wire was in or not. So left it out.
