discolouration of roof rails

hi there everyone

has any one managed to get there chrome roof rails changed under corosion warranty ?

the colour on the roof rails is like a light corosion is this claim able on the corosion warranty as my car is a 52 plate so out of normal warranty.

has any one managed this claim out of warranty.

i dunno about roof rails but the chrome under my windows is all dull so im currently arguing with the dealers to see if the 12 year warranty will cover it!!!
