Hi

My Audi's revs dips when I take off the oil filler cap, is that normal or not, she doesn't stall or anything, the revs just dips a bit and stay there. Is that ok or not?

Yes that is normal. The crankcase breather system is connected into the intake, when you open the oil filler, you are letting in unmetered air through the breather system.

You don't say what engine you have there... :)

My 5pot 1B engine stalls when I do that (and my NF before that), it's a good check to see if you have any vacuum leaks... or so I've been told anyway. If it doesn't stall there may be a leak elsewhere.
