    Hi , just wondering what is a normal deposit to put down on a new factory order , thanks .

    I bought a new TT 2 years ago and paid £500 deposit and paid the same 3 months ago on a new S3.

    Both from Bolton Audi.

    £500. I am told £500 is if the model has been made or £1000 if they are to be factory ordered, anything above and they dont trust you :p

    £500 to get the allocation, then 10% deposit as they didnt trust me :laugh:....

    .....maybe it had something to do with me saying I would cancel the order if a RS3 turned up :sly:

    When I bought my A3 TDI in 2006 I put £500 deposit down for a factory order.

    Thanks guy's , £500 seems to be the going rate then . I was expecting quite a bit more . I assume that this is a non refundable deposit !

    I have usually paid £1000 on new Audi. Friend of mine just ordered a Ford Kuga and didn't have to pay a penny, he's worried it's not really ordered.

    £500 on my current and on a previous A4 Avant 3L TDI. Neither were factory orders, they were both off the AUDI UK Dealer Network.
