Hello guys

Can anyone recommend a paintless dent removal specialist in the West Midlands.

Someone left a very minor dent in my car yesterday whilst I was shopping in Asda :(

Cheers.

go to halfords mate.. dont worry its not them who do they job, they call out a guy who comes and does it for you.. i know the halfords in walsall does it, and i think the oldbury one does aswell

if you after a body shop i can recommed one, which does its work to the very best standards possible.

Try chipsaway. They are mobile and will probably come to you! My mate has the franchise in Shrewsbury and is very good

depends whereabouts you are,I know a very very good bloke

My friend also does dent removal in the midlands area, where are you based?

Oh no Sem. PITA! And I bet they didn't leave any contact details either.

Have you considered sending a PM to Dent Reform over on the Mk4 site? I'm pretty sure he has family around the Telford area so it may be worth asking him.

How strange, mine got dented in ASDA today too, its like a little punch hold just above the door trim! Its nothing major but annoying when you look donw the side of the car. I liv in Telford so awaiting replies!

Try Sainsbury's next time - the dents are much better quality.

some tw*t left me a dent in my passenger door last week at edinburgh zoo! (bring on the smart-**** comments!!!):)

im in scotland, can anyone recommend anyone near or around the strathclyde area who could fix this please?

does anyone have a ball park figure for repairing dents, its about the size of a 10p piece and about 10mm deep.

cheers

I did actually get his details and my insurance company will be claiming through his. They have advised me to take it to their 'approved accident repair centres' but it's completely unnecessary as I don't want any filler or paint on my car. I know that this dent can be pulled out quite easily by someone that knows what they're doing.

Will send Dent Reform a PM over on the other site but do you know what the quality of his work is like?

Thanks everyone for the replies, i'm based in Wolverhampton but work in Birmingham, i'd be happy to travel anywhere just as long as I know the quality of the repair will be good.

Oh well, at least you've got his details and you're not having to fork out for the repair work. Still a PITA though.

I haven't personally used him so can't really pass comment on the quality of his work. There's a thread "over there" where he did a load of dent removals as part of a GB in the London area so there's bound to be lots of examples of his work or people better to pass comment on there. I'll have a quick look now and post the link, if I find it!

Is that fella tiniting windows on the outside??????? :keule:

I know you cut the pattern roughly using the oustide of the glass but it looks like that was fitted to the outside!

No, if you read the thread, it does say why he's doing that but TBH I can't remember!! :keule:He didn't apply it externally though.
