de-chrome your grill

does anyone know how to take the chrome off your grill please

you dont take the chrome off the grill as such , remove grill in one piece then the chrome surround can be removed by carefully easing the locking tabs fron behind ,then rub the chrome surround down using 600 wet and dry sand paper then spray using etch primer leave to dry then flat off using 1000 wet and dry then spray using satin black paint ,leave to dry and reassemble ,and refit to car ,cheap and easy make over .

Open the bonnet and there are about 6 tabs holding it in. Once out there are some more tabs holding the chrome on. Push them out with a flatbladed screwdriver and it'l just pop off
